On March 21, 2024, the Dracut Water Supply District's contractor will be filling the pipes and equipment at the new treatment plant. This is the first of a few steps that will be needed before going online. In order to do so, they must shut down the well field. They do not anticipate any customers being without water however, some customers may experience low pressure and all customers are likely to experience dirty water because they will be supplying water from an alternate direction that will reverse the flow of water. Once the work is done, open an outside faucet until the water clears. The District apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
