Services
The Highway Department is responsible for road maintenance, winter operations, street signs, and traffic signs. Street opening permits are issued through the Highway Department for town-maintained roads.

Please Note: Pawtucket Boulevard and Middlesex Road are maintained by MassDOT. Residents should contact MassDOT (Highway District 4 Office | Mass.gov) at 857-368-4000 to report issues and or concerns with these roads.

Snow Plowing
VEHICLE SUB-CONTRACTING, 2025-2026 SNOW AND ICE SEASON
The Town of Tyngsborough, DPW/Highway Division, is now accepting applications for the sub-contracting of vehicles for our 2025-2026 Snow and Ice season, November 1, 2025 through May 1, 2026. Plow blades 9 ft. or larger are preferred. Interested applicants should pick up information packet, including application, at Tyngsborough Highway Division, 89 Kendall Road, Tyngsborough, MA during regular business hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Applications must be complete and returned to the Highway Division by November 14, 2025.
